    thats not an ss but a firebird... same motor and transmission etc...but its all good i was looking at GSX and WRX before my rex...ended up going w/ rex for two reasons....warranty & 4 doors

    Yeah the GSX won, I've seen that video before. The gsx pretty much tore up the firebird.

    nice launch. it looked like the firebird gave up and braked early.

    Um, they started racing at 18-seconds and the brake lights came on at 25-seconds, so they only raced for 7-seconds. That is less than an eigth of a mile. I guess if you make the race short enough, most any AWD car can beat anything.

    why did the firebird let up then?
