    Sho: 0 Wrx: 1

Oops messed with the wrong WRX. Was on a Freeway in town, doing about 60mph. See WRX w/ aftermarket headlight set up coming up behind me and start thinking a roll would be fun should be easy to take him at this speed. The first time he got me by about 1 1/2 cars @ a 50 roll. Next roll about same speed he got me by even more. All I can say is nice mods man.
    It got here.

Why would you wanna race with another WRX? I just dont see the point or the excitement racing another WRX. Other WRX's are going to be just as fast or faster because modified.

WRX's are the only cars that ever want to race me

it's not like i have any real mods yet either. i think i'll get some more competition when i get a muffler for it. a neighbor got all sorts of races after he put his on.

IMO, racing a car that is slightly faster or dead even is the best race by far...it comes down to driver's skills and it will show you how good you are. Obviously, quite a few races are over before they even begin and can be attributed solely to how deep each person's pocket's are. When you race a similar car, well, it comes down to YOU. How much better can it get?

SHO = Tauras or however the **** you spell that. As far as I know, the older model SHO's are quicker than the newer ones, but I don't claim to be a Ford afficionado.

Yep, its a Ford Taurus with a Yamaha V-6 engine in it. FWD though... 220 HP stock at the crank. A WRX will take one in the 1/4 mile, but from a roll at about 50+, it should be a close race.

Yep. The 3rd gens have crappy, crappy V8's. They discontinued the SHO in 2000 (I think). Too bad, too.

Isn't that kind of strange? Who/What else uses Yamaha motor besides bikes, scooters, and.....

Seems kinda strange that Ford chose Yamaha to provide the motors??

Yeah, it does seem strange, but they were good engines.

Yeah, the Yamaha V6 is an excellent engine. 3 liters, 220 HP... can rev safely to 8400 RPM with underdrive pulleys and a chip. That's impressive.
