WRX vs. 02 Cobra

So I'm out rollin' around tonight and I pull up next to a 02 mustang cobra convertible. The guy was kinda behind me and I didn't know he wanted to race. He takes off fast, and I kinda catch up to him.

At the next light, it was on. He's reving his engine and I rev to about 4k and just smoke him through the intersection. I'm at least 2 car lenghts ahead of him and I grab 2nd and pull away even further.

I must have hurt his feelings because he slowed way down and wouldn't pull up beside me at the next light. I like having a car the looks pretty much stock from the outside...its fun to supprise people with a hissing turbo and AWD

A well driven WRX can take most cars on the road from a dead stop.

Nice Kill. It was probably an 01 or later Cobra, because I don't think they made the Cobra in 02 (preparing for the 03)

just a guess but from the description of the story i would guess he has a Factory short-shifter | Viper alarm | 3M 35% metallic tint | 3M paint protection film | resonator box removed | K&N filter | Autospeed uppipe | Defi boost/egt/oil temp gauges | UTEC | TSX Stealthback exhaust
