I raced it with my 2003 wrx manual, and lost

We raced fomr a stop, and the race was 0-60, irst to reach 60 wins.

I had a decent start but fell back

Are my results normal for the type of cars racing?

Uh yeah, the M3 is about a second faster to 60 than a WRX.

The cars were neck and neck then I realized that I was only running 14lbs of boost, so I hit my e-man presure switch and instantly went to 17lbs. after that I was gone. Bye Bye ZR-1. We ran again, but this time I hit the boost change earlier and beat him by one and a half car lenghts with no problems.
Needlees to say all were impressed with my car. Including me.
How fast were you going when you shut it down? Top speed for a 95 ZR-1 is about 180 mph, so....

I'm not really sure. In 4th gear I had it pinned at 140 and still was pulling the gear. When I hit fifth I was gone. He said that he was around 165. That is why I just bought the Apexi Rev/speed meter.

Actually, the 99 M3 (E36) is only .4 seconds faster then the WRX to 60...the 01+ (E46) is the 333 HP M3 which does o-60 in 4.8 seconds, thats the one that is 1 second faster then the WRX.

Yep. SomeWhere around there. Once I get it to the track and the dyno I will have confirmed numbers. The Apexi rev/speed meter is going in this week. (hopefully)

I have been gone 4 alittle, but now I'm back. I talked to the guy in the ZR-1 a few weeks ago and he just told me that he just had a full service and that his car was miss firing. So when I raced him it probably was the onset of the problem. I know now that my car can't go 165. Had it topped out at 157. My Friend is a state cop and went to the track with me and hit me with the radar. I know that the radar guns aren't perfect, usually 1 or 2 mph off.

For a little? This thread is over two years old. How long have you been gone? Oh, and do you have a current mod list? The other post seems to be gone.

Why are you still on the HKS downpipe? Why not go to a bellmouth or divorced style?

I haven't had any problems with that downpipe and I just want to drive it instead of waiting for it to get out of the shop.
