How fast is a Mclaren F1? I never knew its 1/4 miles time but I suppose it might be under 10. If it is it is under the category of a 10sec production car.

That viper is amazing. If that was stock then Mottr Trend editors can not drive. They listed it at somewhere between 12.1 and 12.4 I dont remember which. Anyone see that Vette vs Viper issue?

Anyone think that the tailights look kind of like the ones off of the sebring?

i cant believe that pulled < 12 stock. the older gts's were low 12's...and those were FAST. ive driven a gts before...my brother was in the passenger seat...and when i was accelerating, he couldnt even touch the radio...and trust me, he was trying

Thats fast, but arent 405hP Zo6's pulling 11.4's with intake and slicks, I think that a Viper could do low 11's with slicks and intake, if the Z06's are doing it in 11.4.

ahh, forget the intake...just slap on a couple turbos and some slicks, and youll be pushing 10 flat.

but yeah, definately...the viper with just slicks will probably be in the low 11's...did you see how "docile" the launch had to be for an 11.8? if you had the slicks to launch at even 3k rpms, i can definately see very low 11's

Of course it would be in that category if it were under 10 seconds... unfortunately, it is around 11.5, IIRC.

With 525 lb.ft torque at such low rpms, he had to feather it off the line to get it to grip. Like abbo7 said above, imagine if he could dump it at 3k. I'd say <11.4 with a 1.6-1.7 60ft. Those cars are beasts.

I wonder how the new Ford GT40 will compare to it? It is also 500bhp.
