Verdugo- Have you raced your friend since he installed the Greddy turbo kit? Curious on who would win now. My friend has a SI and is trying to decide on Vortech or Greddy.

Yep, I sure have...I posted it down below or click here:

He's running stock boost right now...almost out of the break-in period and then he's going to turn it up. Right now we're pretty even on his stock boost, which I believe is at almost 6 psi (0.41 bar). Once he turns it up though, I have a feeling he's going to leave me in the dust. Then again, I only have an intake and exhaust tip (no cats or BC yet) so I'm still relatively close to stock.

Anyone want to contribute to the "Verdugo kicks his friend's Si's ass" fund so I can get some nice upgrades? hehe

I haven't read much about the Vortech kit but the Greddy kit is pretty damn nice...only problem was one of the fittings wasn't done right and he was leaking some oil a bit for awhile. The problem was fixed with some replacement parts without any problems.

Might be an engine transplant.. those Prelude H22B in the lighter civic is no joke. But all motor is expensive, to have a si running that fast requires a lot of work. Unless he is shooting naaawwwwss.

Yah, a prelude engine in a civic is instant 13's. But the drivability really suffers with the big H22. All you can do is go fast in a straight line

Turblown- I know but the b16 or b18 engines have alot more potential. Notice i said "with alot of work."

Why don't you do something more constructive with your time than searching long and hard for 6 year old threads trying to get banned? You must have an exciting social life.
