I caught up with a burgandy WRX , on the 118 freeway in LA county .
I drive a orange mazdaspeed and we decided to play alittle. Recently I had gotten a speeding ticket and was afrraid I would get another.
Anyway we drove side by side for a bit , accelerating back and forth, until the WRX had to exit. I gave him the thumbs up, and he returned it!
My question is,
Does anyone know of a burgandy WRX in the Los Angeles area, with exaust?

my bad, im not quite down with the WRX color scheme lingo yet
Not your bad. We don't expect everyone to know what Subaru names the colors. I don't know the Mazda color names. And since you took the time to join up over here, I just figured I would give you the heads up. Also starting that other thread in the correct (location) forum was a good idea.Originally posted by MazSpeedPro

I also saw a Sedona Red Wagon on the 170N on my way home and we played a little onto the 5 FWY, he slowed down at about 120. I was in a Black Nissan Sentra Spec V with signs on it
The wagon was lowered, had nice dark wheels and a throaty exhaust, sounded sweet!

Titanium Gray MSP? Wow. That looks GREAT. Do you have a link to some pics? I've always liked the MazdaSpeed Protoge.

Hey 2003WRX,
Haven't seen you post for a while. Just curious, why did you get rid of your Spec V for a Maxima? Obviously the Maxima has more room and on the roll go but don't you miss the fun-to-drive aspect of the Spec V?
I guess the more I think about it, you sort of had two of the same kind of cars. Both are great twisty road cars. I suppose the Maxima takes care of your practical needs (ie, more room) while you WRX satisfies your weekend thrills on the canyon roads?

Hey man, I wanted a bigger/fancier car for a daily driver. I bought a completely loaded Maxima SE 6-speed with leather, etc. Its actually quite a bit faster than the SpecV. And it handles nicely for such a big car. The SpecV was fun in the twisties, but just wasnt all that comfortable. I'm really enjoying the Max, its such a nice car...Originally posted by 03WRX
