Yea, this thread is kinda old

But, on topic, the SRT-8 is rumored to not be a dodge magnum but a chrylser 300C (the platform mate). Probably going to be sedan instead of wagon, and it's rumored to have a 6.1L Hemi engine pushing over 400hp stock. Further rumors are that the block is easily capable of 600+hp, and considering the gains srt-4 engines have taken so far, I wouldn't doubt it. Pics of the new 300C are in the latest issue of Motortrend (sept 03) on page 96.

The Magnum will be built, it will look much like the concept above, and will be offered in an R/T version with the 5.7L Hemi at about 350 hp and AWD. Both R/T and SRT will have 5speed Mecerdes auto trannys.

Personally, I might get the Magnum R/T over the SRT. We'll see when the rumors stop and the cars are in the showroom.

Overpower american HEMI RWD sedan here I come!
