    WRX vs IS300 turbo?

A friend of mine has a IS300 with a what he said was a T-67 turbo on his automatic car. I'm a 2002 WRX Wagon at stage2 right now. Think I can take him from a dig? I'm not so sure about from a roll...

from a dig in the beginning if you can launch correctly. but after that he should demolish you for the rest of the race. and from a roll he should have you too. maybe a stg 2 sti would rape him
Turbo Lag is just a courtesy head start.

With a T67 it's safe to assume it isn't just a turboed stock block but a full 2JZ swap. That combo should be enough to make you need new underwear after a drive.

    T67 is a pretty big-ass turbo.

Or you could get an Ariel Atom and race him then.

maybe he was holding back to entice you to race him...then he turns up the boost and whomps on you, but then again if its not for money, then go ahead and find out, I know I would, just to see if his car is running right or not. My friend has the is300 but stock, he researched and knows that it will take at least 10K to get that car running well when turboed and even then its not a reliable car anymore. And the reason that he's auto is becasue the auto tranny will hold up better, manual will only hold up to 300HP to the wheels, while the auto will hold up to 450 or so, so I have read.
