    Me vs Z06

    Caught a light with a Z06. Left turn lights come on and I hear a rumble so I rev a little and I see him inch forward and I'm so happy at this point cause I have been wanting to race one of these for so long. Turn lights hold what seems to be forever even though nobodies turning. Light finally turns green I get a good launch at about 4000rpm and we are off. At the end of first gear my front end was probably at his door with him starting to pull hard. As I shift into second he immediatly jumps to about a car to a car and half in front pulling really hard. When I hit 50 something he shut down and so did I with him having around 2 car lengths on me. It was very fun to see how I would do against a z06. He turned off soon as he shut down so was not able to talk to him are give him the . I thought that maybe I would be able to get a little jump on him but he seemed to get a perfect launch without hardly any wheel spin. If we did not shut down when we did I was about to see several bus lengths pulled on me cause he was pulling like he had a JATO attached to his roof.

    I have cobb stage 1.
    He looked like a 2003/2004 and atleast had some exhaust work done.

    All I have done is set the ecu to run stage1 maps.

    :-/ you do 7s.... there's not much that can beat you short of something you'd seen on an NHRA track...

    Leave my z06s alone, i'm pushing to legalize marriage to corvettes in NJ.
