You're right...Atco and Englishtown out here in Jersey aren't bad...but they are still in the middle of nowheresville. An hour ride each at least, from any major city and many areas...

race in school zones FTL!
School zone racing is so last year. I race through retirement homes and hospitals now.
Oh and racing ambulances is always a good sport.
I went to a few street races when I was dumb and 16. Now I keep it conservative except for doing some good bursts of turbo acceleration, or when I drive on some country roads.

All joking aside, when school is out the road in front of our local junior high is great for getting a few races in.

i've been hitting up the golf course lately, the road is kinda narrow but at least the other cars usually get out of the way when they see me coming. and then there's always the nice grassy offroad sections.
usually i stay out of these but honestly i really don't care if people streetrace. it's their risk and their decision. i highly doubt that anything said in an internet forum is going to sway someones mind one way or the other. this is not a new phenomenon. people have been racing on the street since the second car rolled off the assembly line and I highly doubt that's going to change any time soon. what's funny is most people wouldn't question a chevelle or a lamborghini racing down the street like that's somehow different from a ricer doing the exact same thing(at a slower speed no less).
so anyway,
RAY!!! I don't do any kind of street race except for the aforementioned event. Especially around innocent people!!! If i did, i'd be ashamed to go out in public
I think i've been dumb enough to race two other cars on actual streets, a mustang GT with the V6 body, e-cutout at the headers, nitrous, cai, and i had 3 ppl in the car...
also another mustang gt, but i was the only one in the car, and i won that one.
