With the right bolt on's and good EM the car will run high 13's and trap over 100mph and IMO that is kinda where it should stop. When I was in the Honda scene back in my GSR days I knew guys with turbo RSX-S's and GSR's and the compression was too high and stuff was always breaking and they couldn't get any traction until 3rd gear. My bolt on GSR beat my friends Turbo GSR up until 50mph (where he of course blew by me).

RSX-S is a good car and can be made a great car with bolt on's, EM, brakes, and suspension. Anything more is overkill.
I talked him out of it for those reasons, and he'll probably kill someone/himself. Yeah, he's sort of that type.

Dammit, don't you EVER say anything like that again!!!!!!!

You know as well as I do that the 06/07 wrx is unbeatable and make 400whp from the factory due to being underrated and Cobb Stage2 may very well force it to break the sound barrier leaving Veryon's and Enzo's in its dust.

and I had a type-S with intake/exhaust and hondata reflash and they are quick they are putting over 190hp at the wheels. still not as much as a stock rex but still a good number. 500 lb extra weight is going to slow you down enough considerably.

i'm also assuming you are new to the wrx so chances are you were probably in the wrong gear along with the extra weight means...type-s>wrx

edit: the rsx also weighs about 300lb less then the rex so theres another set back
    +1

I find that if i'm rolling to a stoplight and it turns green and there's a car next to me thats looking to accelerate.. (i usually go 0-60 with that car and let them win...would rather not get a ticket or killed) I can beat them by a rev match downshift. the goal of the wrx is to hit turbo, so whatever speed youre going, youre going to want to be above 3k if youre rolling. Say youre going 30 toward a stoplight and it turns green, you want to rev match to 2nd in order to get the turbo.

hope that helps for next time...and driving fast doesn't always mean bein cool haha. I love my 0-60 when i'm on a two lane highway, but i reserve my high speeds for autocross and stuff.

0-60 is still racing and high speed acceleration if your pushing it to the limit

0-60 is still racing and high speed accel if ur pushing it to the limit? ... 100km/hr isnt pushing it to the limit lol. im confused... nehow,

gimme a break, 0-60 aint nothing. honestly... if you can manage to cause an accident doing a 0-60 you should NOT be driving cause you obviously cant handle something that is in full control and stability [especialy at those speeds]

now if you're doing a 0-60 with cars around you (on the street, or any sort of traffic) then yes, that is dangerous and should not be exercised.

    race safe
