    WRX vs. Evo MR

So today I ran into an old friend who just bought an Evo MR so we decided to go from a dig. We ran an 1/8 not a 1/4 and I won by a few cars but was still pulling on him at the end. We are going to the track soon so that should be fun.

Nice numbers for a TD04, i would assume you have a really low 13 second car that traps in the 103mph area.

^I hope to see low 13's, if so I am going to get a tune for race gas and high boost and go for a 12.5.

he should have still spanked you pretty good in a stock Evo9, I dont think your car would out pull a stock Evo8.

You won by a FEW car lengths in a 1/8? Your car should not come anywhere near that, theirs other factors going on here

    I used to own a WRX tbe/tune

He was stock, but I don't think he should have spanked me by any means. We raced twice with same results.

I'm not that surprised. Both cars are putting a similar amount to the ground, prolly a lil more going to the ground in the Evo. But then the Evo has a decent amount more weight to it.
    THIS IS CAKE TOWN!!

my brother has an MR. the funny thing about the MR (because I never drover any other evo's before) is that to reverse you have to pull up on the shifting nob by the leather. I thought it was clever. Is that the same in the STI?
Yes, and I believe it is still a tdo5 evo16g turbo.

The MR's are slower then the IX and RS because they got more gears to run through.

    But nice run.
