    Owned by a Prius???

I was doing 80 in a 55, minding my own business. It was dark, i see a car soon to overtake me on the left. I allow it to pass, as i always do. Its a prius, he has his dome light on, he's nodding with an ear to ear grin, as if to suggest my death wasnt the only one he was responsible for. I got owned, what can i say?

Of course not, i don't own a video camera. But when i say "beat" i use that figuratively. Meaning that i was in the left lane doing 80, and i had to get into the right lane to get to my exit and the Prius was tailgating me the whole way than when i slowed down to changed lanes he just flew past me.

    Respect the Prius:

    Acceleration, sec
    0-30 mph 3.1
    0-40 mph 4.9
    0-50 mph 7.1
    0-60 mph 9.8
    0-70 mph 13.3
    0-80 mph 16.9

    1/4 mile, sec @ mph 17.04 @ 80.83

Even though the acceleration numbers aren't all that impressive you have to respect it's electric motors torque:

    295 lb-ft @ 0 rpm
