My friend has an 6.0 GTO with some sort of tune and a catback exhaust. The interior in that car is extremely nice, the exterior is okay, nothing flashy. He and I both agree that 0-75 or so my car could keep up with him, i believe stock they are running mid to low 13s, its very hard for them to launch cause the rear of the car squats really bad, but anyway its a very nice car, has no trunk as said before. From a roll its a monster. You can get leftovers for 27k now, pretty darn good deal.

I'm hoping to be able to buy a low milage modded GTO (cam, headers, tune) from a local Pontiac club member sometime next week. He's dyno'ing about 420rwhp currently .

Hope to post a few STi kills in the near future

Doesn't that help a RWD car's traction? My LGT does that and it's a hinderance but it should make the GTO that much faster.

Depends on the setup, a dead hooking rwd will fly past a AWD car.

Yeah it is always raining and snowing where I race. I never race in the dry because why pay for the AWD if you arent going to use it.

In my other AWD cars, 1.70 - 1.72 was a normal 60ft. At the track the RWD guy may better that but if he does it on the street he'll be wearing ET Streets at least and it'll kind of give away the surprise. Besides, if the car's capable of that kind of launch, I probably wouldn't be challenging him in my barely modded 4 door!

GTO's are really fast from a roll. If I could have found them for 27K when i was car shopping, I may have chosen the GTO over the 35K Evo!! They want 34 around here for them.
    THIS IS CAKE TOWN!!
