Obviously you are entitled to your opinion, but I am going to have to say I would rather have my Evo (sticker is around $33k, but I paid much less) than a S2000. But that is how I feel, The Evo isn't pretty enough for most people, but performance wise I would say it handles the S2000, and every other car in that range (w/ the STI being a close 2nd to the Evo) quite easily.
I'm a road racer and the handling on a Subaru is unbeatable. i'll give the evo that it has some speed and a stiffer suspension but for small some of money ($1,866.50) you could have a stronger computer system and standalone fuel management and your beating the evo. sorry but i am a subaru lover and this is just my view. o and the s2000 is out of this competition hp wise there there but handling and drive both exceed anything the s2000 could handle.

That's all fine and dandy but i don't see any hard facts to support any claims brought in here today. Go buy both, mod the crap out of them and then come back and give us the results, n00b.

Wingless alas. Too bad it took a 50 ton truck to make it happen.
no im saying that for around the same price that you buy an evo at the sti can beat an evo.

So what is this dude trying to tell us? I thought that the Evo "outperforms" the STi in pretty much every category out of the box according to all the mags and TV shows (yes mag racing sucks I know). Is he saying, buy the STi and mod it, and it will "outperform" a stock Evo? If so, like I said before, No chit mang!![]()
