my04 stg 2 wrx vs 06-07 wrx

I don't know but.....has anybody with a 2.0l stg 2 raced a stock 06-07 wrx????

Not to long ago i was able to play around with one on the highway. Got up to the guy and pointed foward, he happily applies and i was going to honk 3 times but on the fist honk he took off so i was in 4th and just floored it. He pulled lightly but I wasn't able to catch up. I wished i could of been in third that time but he just took off and we gave each other thumbs up as he exited off.

I guess it just shows how much potential the 2.5l has compared to the 2.0.
I wish i waited for the 2.5l

that extra .5L is nothing to sneeze at. my friend's 06 is stock and i only have an exhaust and we're about even.

This has nothing to do with the .5L of displacement, and everything to do with him getting the jump, and you being in the wrong gear.

When my 2002 wrx was basic stage2 the 06's were no match in stock form. Now with a protune on my rex not even stage2 06's can keep up.
