2002 WRX vs 1998 Integra Type R

- in the 1/4 mile?

I have raced one stock vs. Type-R with headers and CAI and we went from a roll at 50mph and we were dead even to 110. I had an exceptionally strong 02 rex

The integra type R's were good for high 14s (14.9) with a good run when brand new, you put nearly 10 years on any car and its not going to be as strong as it once was. I would imagine a bone stock Integra type R with a good run would be hard to even get into the 14s being 9 years old at this point. I would expect lower 15s out of them around 90-92mph.

this particular Type R is MINT, never winter driven or raced...has 33,000 miles on it

WRX will win every time. Type R is slower than a Type S and the WRX pulls hard on the Type S. They are 15 second cars.

WRX FTW!!!!! Any WRX should never should be scared or hesitant or reluctant to race any N/A honda/acura, except a NSX or built S2000. I had a fully built all-motor 2.1L integra, and it only ran a 12.4 on slicks. But I'm talking that if you rolled up next to it, you would know that it was a fast car, lumpy idle and it sounded like a full drag car but in a 4cly pitch/tone.(not as deep/rumbly) Race him for pinks. "If you loose this race, you will loses you RIDE!"

drag race if you can drive you win. Roll its a drivers race, but higher speed, advantage to type R. Of course this is if the type r is in good shape

u wanna put money on the fact that a 2005/06 type s vs stock wrx, the type s pulls off a roll amost every time? even drag racing they trap 95mph and have done as low as 14.5-14.7 range. Stock 03-05 wrx is no beast or anything even close to a beast off a roll.

The 02-04 Type S run a 15.2 or just under 15 for the Z engines. We run a 14.3 or 13.9 stock depending on liters. They are not a problem from a dig.

I only meant in terms of 1/4mi. Im not gonna debate from-a-roll.

here and dont say the wrx ran a 14.6 not 14.3 cause the type r is capable of high 14's. Look at the 0-100 time etc etc, very close race off a roll with type r having better top end
