WRX vs T3/T4 GSR motor

My friend has a T3/T4 Turbo - GSR motor in his honda 92 hatch. It's completely gutted and light. He says his car is doing 10 sec.

Is that possible? I can see 11 sec, but not 11.0 sec.

What do you guys think??? I don't see where he could get the money
to do such a build and they say he took the car to the track ONE time
and now he took the turbo out because he's afraid of the car. He cannot
control the car. Any truth guys???

I can see it, If he can drive like a mofo then sure. If its completely gutted and ultra lightweight with a T3/T4 then I can see high 10's on a sticky icky track

It is definately possible low 11's. I've seen it done. High 10's... i think so~

10.0 is possible but "he took the turbo out because he was scared" is a bunch of BS, my bet is he saw a honda in fast and the furious that looked liked his and he lied.

sounds like a bunch of bs on his part. but it is probable. (sp?) you can take a light eg hatch do a normal piston and rod swap to the motor chuck some fuel and 15psi and run low 11s easily. bin done quite a few times.

Im callin BS.... if the car ran 10s in the 1320, then it would have abuilt engine with lower compression... a stock internals honda engine B18 can only hold around 8-10psi pushin it and that will cause rod failer after prolonged use... i can see high 11s-12s wit a stock block, slicks, and gutted... but if he took the turbo off then the car would run like poop.. the compression would b to lower.. so give him the BS card..

a GSR motor with just a run-of-the-mill-norm T3/T4 kit will dyno at like 240-250whp, with no internals done, which is around 300chp.

put that in a ~2000lb gutted chassis and you have a very quick car. under 11.00 though? i doubt it, i don't see how it could find the traction for that.

The GSR motor is not going to last that long with anything higher than 10 psi. 11's is definitely a possibility but the "I took the turbo off because I was scared" line is a dead giveaway that it's a lie.

People that build fast cars love the speed and 11 seconds is fast, but not breaking any sound barriers.

Impossible even with a gutted and lightened car, unless his motor was built and he had LSD with slicks he couldn't do a 10 second pass, GSR motor's aren't even that great and they won't handle boost as well as some other honda motors.

Low 11's or really High 10's possible, like I've said, seen it done numerous times.
