BTW, what is a 4th Gen Mustang? I would think a "4th Gen Stang" would be a fox body, if not a Cobra II style car from the late 70s. Did you mean 94-98 or 99-04?

Yes, I'm wrong for racing, but I did it anyway.
Driving to work, got off x105, caught light behind Mustang we are both in left lane on rt 36. Blacked out taillights, Black on Black convertible with top up and Borla sticker centered on rear window. Exhaust sounded good. Light turns green, we both take off, me behind him. He changes to middle lane around 50mph, I follow behind him, he changes back to left lane around 70 and I stick in middle lane and keep the pedal down. Both of us running pretty hard - passed him around 120-130, I shut down at 140. Yes, I know this was dangerous and stupid - however, it was fun and I didn't kill anyone in the process. I slowed down and he got next to me - tried to talk, but really couldn't hear him. Caught light together by monmouth mall, I'm on right lane, he's in middle lane.
Him : Is that an STI
Me : No but I've got quite a few of their parts and over 11k invested
Him : That's fast - you're lucky I didn't use this (he purged his Nitrous)
Me : yeah, it's fun, I don't like to launch it, but it's not bad from a roll
Him : I can't launch it, I'm going to the mall.
Light went green - he went his way, I went mine.

I'm not sure what a 4th gen stang is either... was it soft curves, sharp curves, or newest body style? Did it have a hood scoop?

I checked the wiki before I classified it as a 4th gen. If you check the wiki - 4th gen doesn't exist in the index, but if you scroll down - there it is??!!.
It looked like a 99-04 to me. (3.7 on the wiki) Nice to see someone catch this.

You are the only one I have ever seen classify Stangs as "X Gen." That is the confusion. No big deal, but I truly had no idea which Stang you meant, lol.I checked the wiki before I classified it as a 4th gen.
