'04 WRX vs. Newer Chevy Caviler

Hey, I was just messing around today and I ended up next to a Caviler at a stop light. I decided to rev and he rev'd back so I knew it was on. Light turns green, and I bogged first, but caught up to him by 3rd gear. At the next light I rev it high and let of the clutch and after that it was game over.

    WRX FTW!

....and then a cop passed us!

P.S. This Caviler must have had something done to it because it was quick!

Good race, good kill! I like your sign in name, is there a hidden reason to your alternative spelling of "Phoenix" or is it just mis-spelled? Good race and welcome!

Thanks! Actually, I spelled my name wrong because I'm an idiot and usually don't spell Phoenix on a daily basis.

I wish there was a way to change it....without having to register again.

The name actually has something to do with my fraternity...in case you were wondering.

Not many imports (other than Subaru and Toyota/Scion) around where I live, so Cavaliers/Sunfires seem to be the vehicle of choice for the ricer community.

Not that there's many of them to begin with, but the majority of those who do fit the stereotype seem to gravitate towards these models more than any other. Probably because they're dirt cheap, and take well to "mods" found at the local Wal-Mart or Advance Auto.
"The way a press launch for a new car works is, a car manufacturer flies a group of automotive journalists to a nice location, pays their expenses, wines and dines them for several days, and lets them drive the new car all over the place. Then they go home and write objective stories."
