MBC can be ran on the 02-03 as long as you don't hit PTFB.

Heard you the first time, still would like to see some a/f data logging with an MBC on an 02-03 set at 14.5 psi on stock EM.

go search my posts, i have it uploaded somewhere on a dyno chart with a mbc set at 16.5 psi with uppipe and tbe. A/f was just fine. Car was quicker then cobb stage 2 wrx's.

Of course it was - the stock boost control has progressively higher targets for each gear(well, not all gears, but I do recall 1st being a bit shy compared to say 3rd). If you are running a MBC - no targets for each gear.

Out of curiousity, what EM were you running at the time?

i've had both and a stage 2 wrx is not keeping up with a sti. I've owned both and i've drag raced them and sti was faster and trapped higher. I used to race my friends 350z and with wrx at stage 2 i would barely pull on him on the freeway, with sti i had a nice gradual pull and had cars on him easily.
