Yes he has. But you called him a troll earlier for basically no reason that I could see, so I think his point was proven.

I'm glad to see this thread got back on track.

FYI--2004NeonSRT4 has been around for a while, and has never trolled or caused issues on this site (that I could see). He contributes mainly on the SRT4 subjects due to his knowledge and owenership of one (which, BTW, may soon be the fastest or near the fastest SRT4 on the east coast). He is also a previous WRX owner which is how he became a member in the first place. Not that he needs defending, but he is a friend of mine also. I just wanted to go on record publically that I found it a bit awkward even posting this as it would appear to be against another moderator, but this is not the case. Merely wanted to show balance on the forum and as we are all adults here (mostly), I'm sure there will be no harm done.
In other words....why can't we all just get along

Interesting thread. SRT4 guys steps in and adds value to the discussion and gets called a troll. Then idiotic comments get posted without smileys. Time to take an age poll here...

my dodge dealer reccommends the BOV for an SRT to help with releasing the excess pressure. They do 100% no harm for SRT's.

My SRT dyno'd 289 @ TDC tuning. Turbo back exhaust, and intake! THATS IT!

i personally miss my srt, but it doesnt compair anymore to the cars i've owned now. Still a worthy compeditor tho

My cousin has an SRT-4 and the staged bolt-on packages for the car make a lot of power pretty easily.

They are comparable to the 2006 WRXs in that they make a lot of torque per hp increase.

The big problem with SRTs is that to upgrade the turbo, you have to upgrade the whole exhasut manifold too and a lot of the kits are over 3 grand.

the ACR is one of the best factory track toys out there. no mods necessary, and the performance is just silly.

Very true, and I'll add that in stock form, with a rolling start, an SRT4 is capable of keeping up with a stock STi. Mod-wise, they are very comparable to the impreza platform at the beginning, but their internals are much stronger so in the end, you can get much higher peak HP and TQ for the same money spent. It's too bad they are FWD (and look like a neon) j/k

Well it started out like a typical circle jerk of cliche hating but page three has shone light on all that adult car enthusiasm can offer.

I had a Neon before my wagon. It handled wonderfully after few mods and was a blast throw around. I still miss its underdog ricer owning sleeper crappyness.

I think the look and the FWD are the things that killed the SRT-4 for me.

Like I said, my cousin has one and happens to know a MOPAR guy, which would have meant really cheap staged upgrades and free warranty work but I couldn't get over the ugliness (to me, no offense) or the lack of AWD for a NY winter (which are now gone anyway).

All 3 (EVO, SRT, STi) have their strengths and all are very nice cars in their own respects.
