    give it a year, he'll come running back to Subaru when his windows wont close,and the dashlights keep flickering inexplicably. Oh and lets not forget the IED-like ignition system by Bosch.
    Are those iron blocked turbocharged engine? If so then 260hp is very possible, even on a small turbo.

    i got rid of my WRX because i hated the interior, the turbo lag, and the fact that when i would start from zero i would have to put it into second before first otherwise it would grind like hell. i do hate FWD, but the car handles great. they underrate it from the factory, its actually making about 190 whp stock. i have a revo chip and its 260 crank hp and 309 (or something like that) torque. it will never reach 260 whp with just a chip, i doubt it will even reach 260 whp with the stock KO3. its a nice little car and im having fun with it. oh and my friend's stang GT is an 06 auto. i'm taking it to the track on friday (most likely), but our track here is only 1/8 mile. but i'll let you guys know how i do. thanks for the responses!

    Hey man, if you enjoy the car that is all that matters. VW's, while having questionable reliability, still have great interiors, handle pretty well, and can make some nice power numbers for cheap.. Not to mention all the torque they produce.

    But yeah, if you are running a chipped GTi and he is an auto stang then I could def. see this happening.
