06 wrx vf39 vs Turbo Civic OMG!!!!!

Unfortunately like a mosquito to my ankles, my car attracts turbo civic's by the drones. I am riding down our local "cruise strip" (Things I do for Chic-fil-A) and I see fake hid's trailing me from behind. Well after tailgating me for a while and making a strange turn with me I hit the highway and of course he pursued.

So we ride down the highway for a while and he pulls along side me and starts to slow down. In the meantime I have put my car into 3rd gear (at around 50mph) All of the sudden he stomps the gas before I have even slowed enough to get by his side. He instantly jumped from my rear bumper to about the middle of the drivers door. I then eased the gas pedal to the floor and pulled around 4 cars on him by the end of 3rd (90ish). His nose never made it past my drivers door because my car was instantly in boost and pulled like a bastard child pulls away from his uncle Chester.

Afterwards he quickly exited so as not to be seen, probably off to lowes to make a mbc. He made sure he squeezed off his super dooper blow off valve one last time before exiting.....cool

i had that happen tonight too, I was passing in the left lane until i got stuck behind a slow pickup that wasn't passing traffic on the right.

Then this pair of headlights appears suddenly behind me and came just barely of my bumper, sat there riding me for about 2 miles, i'm like wtf.

Truck moves, I get on it a bit, and he continues to ride me hard. I get over to make my exit and this honda shoots by, making sure i hear his blowoff, before buzzing on past.

I mean, wth? I wasn't driving slow, and I wasn't riding the trucks ass, what was his problem? I didn't have time to nibble on him, tho. I had ice cream in the car...
I hate my WRX's stock horn....

Big improvement from the td04l, but still not enough, I cannot stand having boost taper to redline. I want to hold 18psi till redline, so I am thinking of going with an 18g real soon.

Plus I want something that will outflow the Evo 16g so I can lay the wallop on them baystards.

ahh man up and get a 35r. honestly tho with a 2.5 i wouldnt start with anything smaller then a 20g. good story to. but be careful some of them back a punch. the fact that 99% dont its the 1 that gets ur when your on ur high horse. i had a guy call me out with a 14psi turbo kit. didnt say anything else. how fast can 14psi be when im running 24? doh, left me6 cars back from 20-120.

I wish we had ricers in my area. Just once I would like to race someone and really beat them badly. In my 4 years of driving I have yet to race anyone. 2 nights ago a cadilac cts (not v) with 4 teenage passengers was reving at me. I dowshifted and then he turned off. I must admit it was one of the most exciting things I have done in a while, even though we didn't even race.

    Oh yeah...nice kill.

Around here we have nothing but ricers or race cars, not a lot in b/w. I have counted at least 10 turbo civics/crx/tegs around this area. And every other mustang is s/c'ed. Corvettes don't race because for some reason it is embarassing for them to lose a race, so they don't chance it.

SRT-4 is another big one around here, which isn't so much rice, but each one around here sports stickers and a BOV and teh fast teen mod.

Oh yeah, and if you plant a potato in your backyard and spin 3 times and say "shimmy shine" 5 times fast, a riced Escort will fly by. Or you can just sit on your front porch, count to ten and point and likely there will be one buzzing by.

Hey stupidman, where in VA are you? I see enough rice everyday to feed china. I can't count the amount of times a day I see a huge wing on a FWD car, domestic and imports alike, complete of course, with stickers so you don't forget it's a HONDA ACCORD. But the funniest thing I've seen, is some old FWD POS (like mid 80's econo-box) with an erecter-set wing on BACKWARDS. Meaning as he drives down the road, his wing was angled to actually LIFT his backend UP. I wish I would've had a camera with me. Fuggin priceless.
