me( 04 wrx cobb stage 2) vs 2006 cvic SI

A friend of mine just got a 06' civc si and wants to race me. I'm pretty sure I can take him from a dig or a roll. Wanted to see if anyone has had any encounters with one yet. BTW the Si is stock

Not yet but I'm sure you'll put him to shame if you're Stage 2. Should be no problem for you.

Yep as stated you will win this one, but soon as he starts modding, from a roll will be a good race. GL .. keep us informed..

Really? I wouldn't think the car takes good to modding since it is n/a and already semi-maxed out from the factory. I would think they have a max of 25hp to gain with all bolt on mods. Unless you are thinking of a turbo or supercharged civic si.

I would think it would have to have around 250hp to hang or beat a stg 2 285hp wrx from a roll.

k-series motors have blown the mold about basic bolt on engine mods. Rsx-s can see a good amount of power increase with intake, header, exhaust and a tune. Im sure the new Si will be the same.

That is actually very impressive. Pretty bad ass looking ride. Best civic by far IMO.

Sport Compact Car had a supercharged 06 Si built by hasport that only ran a low 14 in the 1/4. The was with a custom Hondata ECU too.

an 06 Si with a I/E and a tune is not gonna make 40hp

+ eleventy billion. 40hp sounds way off.
I think you'd be lucky to get 15 whp with an I/H/E

^ That sounds more reasonable to me.

50hp is a longshot unless you are modding a v8 like the ls1.

I was just looking at clubrsx.com 05 dynos and it seems the average I/H/E+tuning was making about 213~ WHP. I believe they put around 180 WHP stock.
