    me vs monty carlo ss/supercharged

this is a figment of my imagination and cud never happen in real life. (dream music plays) well i was on my way home from work saturday evening, minding my own business as usual, when i find my self behind this black monty carlo ss. now i didnt know it was supercharged until we start to make a right turn to get to the tollroad. im thinking "naw he's not gonna...: ". he takes off. im like hold on chief. so i drop it in second and catch up. then we had to make another right turn to get on the tollway but i was ready this time. we start to get on the tollroad doing about 35, im in second and he does it again. i cud smell the fumes and i see his rear end dip down a little, but im right behind him untill we get to where we can merge into traffic, i jump over cuz i was in his azz, not too close though. then i pass him on the left. he looks over, i guess wondering what happened then tries to keep up. i didnt think i wud pull on him that hard. we got up to around 90 then slowed down cuz i didnt want to go thru the tollbooth at that speed. he then just stays behind me. not trying to pass or nuthin. just stays behind me. guess he liked my taillights or was to embarassed to try again, i guess thinking the outcome wud be the same. who knows.

    Nice dream!

Those Monte Carlo SS's (and Pontiac Gran Prix GTP's) shouldn't be under-estimated. They make 260hp stock and run mid to low 14's in the 1/4. For less than 1K (pulley, chip & cheap exhaust) they can run mid to low 13's.

The Impala SS has a v8 offering as does the new Pontiac GXP. Both are FWD and are about as worthless as a two dollar ***** after you start to itch the next week.

I'm not a JDM fan boi by any means, but once you get one of those tanks into the turns it's all over. I'd suspect a stg2 wrx to walk it on a leash all over the powerband.

Was this a newer Monte Carlo, or an older one? All of the recent Monte's are FWD and V6's, except for the most recent model...

Then I don't know how you saw the rear end dip, because like I said, FWD.

i never underestimate ANY car, especially those. i owned a 98 gtp and i know full well what they are capable of, especially with just a little money invested in them (pulley, rockers, exhaust, & tune)

FWD dips to the rear under acceleration just like RWD. It's why it sucks for traction so much since the weight all transfers to the back.

One is what a cow chews, the other is the word "was" when you have a cold in your nose.

e-slang/spelling is getting downright scary...new langauge lessons will soon be needed.

Wait a minute now...haven't you seen the wheelie bars they put on the front of FWD vehicles at the drag strip?

Iv seen that twice. Without some sort of antilift, front wheel drive cars lift up just enough to start spinning like a mofo
