You know, I could say similar things about STi and EVO drivers. I have smoked at least 6 STi and EVOs at the 60' time and I'm running on street radials.Originally Posted by project_skyline
As soon as my buddy load the video of me vs 450 whp EVO, i'll provide the link. This video shows great driving abilities of a AWD driver.

Sounds about right. A modded WRX has a nice advantage on the street (in a short race 1/8 mile or so)
A 350 rwhp LS1 z28 would definately pull hard at 100+ mph. With traction it should run deep in the 12s at the track. But getting off the line fast on the street, could be difficult.
Your story reminds me of a time when a group of guys were hanging out around an LS1 z28 making negative comments about my 02 WRX. They said something like " the put mods on those things, but they're still slow."
I ended up beating him by about 3-4 cars in a 1/4 mile race. I was running a stage 4 setup at the time and running 12.7-12.8s at the track. After the race they just looked over at my car in disbeleif.
