Don't underestimate turbo diesel trucks. I've been driving my brother's crew cab F350 with the 6.0, a 4" exhaust, and a programmer for the last couple days. That thing moves well enough to really surprise people. The 5sp auto trans shifts fast enough that I would have trouble shifting faster with a manual.

Stock you are looking at very high 16's or low 17's
Cold air intake will get it into the 16's.
Then a power programmer will get it deep into the 15's. Mine went 15.8. Air on, full of passengers and bed full of tools. (Power programmers are inexpensive and very easy to do.)
If you add exhaust temp guages and a really nice exhaust, you can squeek into the high 14's, low 15's.
Then with a torque converter, trans cooling, and a bunch of other junk- you can see low 14's and high 13's.

No propane injection to complete it?

Even with exhaust and ecu you would still beat him.. but it would def. be a closer run. If you go stageII by the time you run it will be ridiculous how badly your walk him.

it wasnt stock i bet. the turbo was loud as hell and when he would floor it, a thick black smoke would come bellowing out of the exhaust.

No offense, but I still don't see it. A stock 6.0 does 0-60 in a hair over 9 seconds. Install a couple upgrades, and that figure drops a good 2 seconds if not more. A stock 6.0 puts out 325hp, and 570ft lbs tq. After an exhaust and a controller, that figure ups to and easy 425hp, and 750ft lbs tq.

Propane injection is like NitrousOxide. It is for people that don't know how to make real horsepower, the right way.
