STI vs 350Z

Performance wise, which is better? What is your opinion? I would think the Z handles better no?

Before people bite my head off, i know there are other posts on this, however i was more interested in which is better in the twisties, and overall performance. Drag racing is stupid in my own opinion.

After driving both, I'm going with STi for the win. At least stock for stock, the STi definately handles better, goes quicker, and you can actually see the traffic around you. The Z feels like a fatty when you're driving it. The awd, DCCD, and sticky stock tires on the STi really help. Drive them both for yourself and find out.

Performance and Quality are much better on the STi IMO. A friend of mine has a 350Z here at work and it's in the shop often enough that I wouldn't buy one. I know they have worked out some of their quality issues with newer models but by how much, I don't know...

STi > 350Z all around. Power, handling, modability, etc...

However, you might want to consider an Evo as well. Evo > STi > 350Z

If your looking to buy on or the other I'd concentrate more on which car feels better to you rather than which one is faster. Theres always going to be something faster so theres no sense in worrying about it.

I've driven both and theres something about the 350Z that just feels better. It feels more like a sportscar to me. The 350z is also absoloutely gorgeous, I think its one of the best looking cars out there. The only real thing that would persuade me to get an STi over a 350Z is the space issue the Z has very little interior/cargo space.

I have to agree with you. Also a deciding factor would be where you live, whether you see a lot of snow or rain. Then id get an STi. However if I lived in florida or another similar in weather state id def rock a Z all the time (ours just sits in the garage in NJ).
