Unless the CRX is boosted or swapped it wont be a match at all. If the crx is a HF and has some suspension on it the CRX could fair very well in the turns, but stock they came with zippo power. The only thing that made them sporty (in the HF case) was they weighted 1800 lbs. STI FTW

I think you should post this question three more times. It's the only way to know.

either the kid with the crx is a dumbass, or something is up...

Are YOU the kid with the crx? That would make sense...hmm, come on a WRX forum to see what he's up against...sounds like something a honda driver would do

Take your $2,000 and find a remedial learning facility.

That's what I said, but the money has been shown and he has seen my car, I'm trying to figure out what he could have in there. That's why I'm trying to get some help about this.

might have some upgrades? For all we know the CRX could be an all out drag car. For $2000 id think you would at least have a little more info.

    Let us know the outcome.

No, I have the STI, for proof, here you go. 04 STI, 24,000 miles, aspen white, completely stock, just got it.

Car and my system, so no I don't own a POS 89 crx.

There is no way that someone is stupid enough to lay 2g's on the line if that CRX is stock. A stock CRX stands no chance against a WRX. Nevermind an STi. If in fact the kid is really forking up that much dough. That CRX most definitely has a motor swap or is boosted heavily.
