+1 Love 'em or hate 'em, that sound is definitely amazing!!!

I used to own a '00 SVT Lightning and loved hearing the sounds of GTs, Cobras and Saleens at Ford meets.

non-supercharged COBRA, never heard of it. How do you know when they
are supercharged besides the supercharger sound?

I thought ALL Cobra were supercharged?

It is only recently that Cobra's have been supercharged. All pre 03 models were NA from the factory. Fast for their time, but a bit dated nowadays. No slur intended.

The only Cobras to come S/C from the factory are the 03/04's. All previous Cobras are NA. Now that SVT is back alive, there will hopefully be more S/C'd Cobras in the future.

Was true, not anymore. They announced at the NYAS that SVT would continue with just a Mustang and a truck variant with numbers around 5000- 10000 a year. So it looks like SVT is still alive and kicking which is very good news.

If Ford drops SVT, then they will officially become Balls-less.

    +1 for the sound!

My friend has a 98 cobra with a procharger running 10psi he has 450whp. You could hear that supercharger from far away. When I raced him it felt like I put the car in reverse
