    vf39 wrx > E36 M3

Not too much to say about this one and i dont do this kinda thing. Hes my friend though so we just a quick 2nd-4th pull. It had an exhaust but not sure what kinda numbers he put down. My car walked away from it pretty well. Anyone know how much faster an E46 M3 would be?

e36 m3s arent that fast..I think stock they put down 220hp..something like that and run low 14 1/4 miles. Maybe a little faster than a stock 2.0 WRX...but a stock 2.5 would well driven would beat it im sure. No question with an upgraded turbo like the VF39. e46 M3s run 333hp..and 300 something torque RWD. I think they are low 13/high 12 second cars stock. Something like 270hp to the wheels in those things.

E36 M3 is basically a 02-03 WRX with a little better grip. i beat one in my completely stock bugeye from roll.

E46 M3 is no joke in a straight line, hitting mid-high 4's to 60mph, but it's peaky: 8000rpm redline. furthermore, that engine has not been the most reliable thing on the planet.

A stock e46 pulled me by at least two car lengths and I'm a Cobb stage 2, with a catless down/up and a lightened crank pulley. I drive a 2000 rs with a wrx engine swap. I also kept the rs tranny so I have better gearing then the rex as well. The same day he took down a ver 4 sti swaped L as well.

Hmm not sure on the overrated but my Stg 2 Sti walked away from a new E46 M3, while I had 3 passengers. When I let off and he caught up, he gave me a big thumbs up.

A stock E46 with SMG will cut a 13.5-13.6 all day long. A manual tranny E46 with a good driver is capable of a 13.3 or so...with a very good hookup.

A VF39 WRX with support mods should take one no problem.

A well driven stock STi will take one no problem.

A stage 2 STi v E46.....no question which one wins (driver dependant of course!)

Nice run BTW. Of all the cars out there, a BMW is the one I most enjoy representing against. Nothing ever matches their stoney or astonished expressions!
