    j/k.

Yes it was posted in another thread but that's ok. It's a good video deserving of its own.

Increasingly hard to buy a 2015 and be guaranteed it's a bad car. Everybody is doing better.

Sorry about the double post. I tried to check before posting and had a difficult time determining if the video was already posted.

It's not inexplicable. They wanted to focus on one body style so they could perfect it. Doing that let them really dial in the handling. Did everyone forget that hatches are a new thing? Hell, the STi was sedan only for years!

This car will move tons of units without the help of a hatch. Subaru knows what they are doing.

What I would love to see is a video like this comparing a '14 to a '15.

Well besides looks and pure speed I'd say the 15' wins pretty damn good over the 14'. Unfortunatley I believe the reason being it's slower is everyone cried for a 6 speed so obviously now that will reflect in its quarter mile time hence the 02' wrx like 14.0. lol

Those looking for a hatch now can only hope they bring the Levorg/Levorg STI to the states.

I was quoting the test driver, please watch the video carefully. Still think they're missing a market segment, the hatch will be back IMHO, if not kudos to the other manufactures they reap the benefits. But I have fairly new hatch so I'm happy.

I watched the video, but I'm not going to lie, I didn't memorize everything in that 12 minute vid. The test driver was being rhetorical, I think. We (and probably Motor Trend as well) know why the hatch was nixed. It doesn't always have to make sense to us consumers (how many times have we seen manufacturers screw up a product because they think they know what consumers want while ignoring consumer pleas?). They're trying to make money...it's a business. I'm pretty sure the hatch will return, once they've made profits on the new model. I can understand why the did what they did. They freed up the funding to go all-out. One of the two had to go, to free up extra funding. It just happened to be the hatch. Remember, both models had 50% of the sales, so either way, one fan group was gonna be pissed.

Additionally, it's not like there are a lot of competition regarding hatches out there...MS3, Focus ST, GTI...what else?

This car is going to sell...a lot. They're probably in for another record year of sales, as well.
