I knew that my engine could handle 108hp... but could I? I'd never tried it.
WOW 108 horsepower?? How does he keep that car from going airborne????

    Response from another member:

w3rd! Why buy an STi? You can be just as fast for $4000. ****ing idiots with their rally heritage, all wheel drive, massive brembo brakes, inverted strut suspension, Super Sport ABS with Electronic Brake Force Distribution, Active Yaw Control, Driver controlled center differential, 4 doors, Hid lights, Turbo chargers, Aluminum control arms, 17 inch BBS rims, Z rated tires, 6 CD in dash changer, Automatic climate control, 2.5 liter motor, Intercooler Sprayer, Thermometer, 4 Airbags, 6 speed manual, cruise control, Shift light with warning buzzer, blue faux-suede sport seats, Premium sound system, boost gauge, red stitching, aluminum hood, and 4 way power mirrors. The EG is the way to go!
I think there was a compliment in there somewhere

I think ya'll need to re-read that story... he is poking fun at every "ricer" who runs against someone on the highway and beats them when in actuality, the car they were running against wasn't even racing...

I liked it... thought it was well-written... and it went over the head of most of the folks over there...

I've seen Hondas destroy STi's before, but they were turbo'ed.

Maybe that STi was in reverse

    Or NOS.
I know a guy with a Honda Hatchback with bolt ons, some weight reduction, and a big shot on NOS. He runs deep in the 7s in the 1/8 mile, and he beats most of the street cars he races.

So with the right combination of mods they can definately be fast. But I wouldn't be caught dead driving the car.
