The 2015 WRX is not released to the general public and won't be out in mass most likely until May or June. So it may be tough to get your hands on one for another 6 months or so, and there have been no head to head tests done yet.

And just to be clear, do you want a hatchback or a sedan, or do you not care? Because the 2015 WRX no longer has a hatchback, it is sedan only.

As for the current generation WRX vs the current generation Focus ST, IMHO, they are different animals and you really need to drive them. I found the WRX to be much quicker off the line, to have better driver feedback, and I preferred the exterior styling and AWD to the FWD ST. The ST has a better interior with lots more options for a lower price, but you also will see much worse depreciation and resale on a Ford vs a Suburu unless you plan on keeping the car 10 years.

Considering nobody has driven the 2015 WRX yet, I don't think anyone can give you an opinion.

You'll have to get seat time in both in order to make an informed decision. Come up with pros and cons of each. Some comparisons, some differences, etc. Does AWD make a difference? Etc. We can't tell you what you will like...

Imagine going on a Focus ST forum and asking the same question...

Focus st is a great car, but the Fiesta ST is even better. If your going to drive a Focus st you gotta drive a fiesta. IMHO is FiSt is 10x better feeling.

The Fiesta ST's backseat is about as useful as the BRZ's though, unless the driver and passenger are under 5'7" or so.
