I'll be steering clear of the MT Forums

I think this is a better place for me to discuss Subaru stuff

Subaru WRX Hatch Gets My Vote - Motor Trend The General Forum Forum

I don't think anyone there want's to hear about anything good on the WRX based on what I observed. I've got a lot of experience with forums and know when to cut losses and run.

Anyways my post there was about my WRX and how I think its the best car for the money going right now, it you want something that can do a lot for quite a little.

    Thoughts?

    Welcome!

EDIT: I also agree with your assessment. If Subaru keeps their pricing the "same" for 2015 I will be getting my 2nd WRX.

Honestly, I don't see anything hostile about the MT forums in the link you provided that means you should "steer clear" from them in the future...

    Regardless, welcome

Exactly. All they want to do there is defend their own car purchase or what not. I thought other Subaru owners would chime in there but alas... I'm here All the better for it too.

    Welcome from NJ

Very nice looking car. I too agree with your assessment. Other cars out there do pack the same punch, but can't quite do as much. I think the WRX is a great car, but there are some flaws. Nothing that I really care about anyway! Haha. Enjoy your time here. Lots of helpful people and a great community.

    Welcome.

I can't say I'd expect anyone to agree with a statement like that. It's just so subjective. And of course everyone thinks their car is better, that's why they bought it lol.

Welcome! Without having looked at your link, I will say that I would not be surprised at all to learn that MT forums aren't all that great/interesting.

Seemed like most everyone there agreed with him, with some modifiers like the Focus/Fiesta ST if AWD wasn't required (an arguement we'd pretty much all agree with).

Anyways, welcome! I agree the WRX is a very good "jack-of-all-trades, master of none" car. There are cheaper, more practical, or more sporty cars out there, but the WRX offers a good compromise of all of those features. It's not perfect, but no car is.

I have to agree...why because I been looking for my next car...I drivenMazda 6 the 3, a 320BMW,a CLA 250,Lexus ct, and I lease a V6 rav 4 WD.Despite the looks compared to the new Audi A3 the 2015 WRX has a lot going for it...I drove a 2010 WRX and was blown away...you gotta be kidding, handled better than all my previous cars and was feeling faster by the seat of the pants reckoning
I can't wait to see one in person.
