    2004 wrx vs 2005 tc

Talking to a girl, she claims her TC will take my WRX... but nothing is working in her favor, although rumor has it shes had it to 130ish, and from what I've seen they top out at 127 through a speed limiter. Could be a fun run, had my wrx up 130 last week and was just shy of my redline in 4th, but it has a cobb ram intake and is tuned...so im not surprised, but does anyone have expierence in a Tc? I'm not scared, but im curious, is the Tc really that sporty? never caught me as being really sporty, but im wondering if i've been wrong? thoughts?

tC isn't anything to worry about, your wrx should have 260+ hp and 240lb ft of torque. The tC has 160hp and 156lb of torque. You'll smoke her.

Dude you should put money on it, tell her if she wins then you'll pay $50 bucks but if you win then she owes you. You'll obviously win since she knows nothing about your car.

See? if this is the case, and i havent seen yes or no... it shows how much i know about em... shes only had it to 130, i cant imagine it goes much more then that. I did a good job at almost scaring myself when i was ready to grab 5th at 130 in my WRX.... only concern is her cornering... but it all comes down to the driver at the end of the day, doesnt it?

She could have it up to 140 and it wouldn't matter. The little tC has quite a bit of low end torque so she might beat you off the line but you have nothing to worry about, you have twice the hp and torque. Go getcha some

Unless she has sway bars then cornering isn't a issue. The tC has a lil quickness and it does 0-60 in 7.4 secs I believe and the wrx does it in 5.9 so you're good. lol

It would be like a POS Kia going up against a V8 Mustang.. lol nothing to worry about for the 'stang

In the little research ive done, the tC is a 7.4 0-60.

Maybe I'll toy with her for a bit.... She has a couple weeks, month maybe to learn her car and im letting her choose the roads.... give her some advantage.

Racing on public roads? Not very well liked here. Not to mention it is stupid and dangerous for all parties involved. Best of luck, keep racing to the drag strip or track.
