Sweet !!! I've been smitten with this model/year for a while now. But I'm still torn between continuing the on going 74 260z project, or taking the dive for a Vette. Congrats beautiful car.

Congrats! Much better choice over Audi and BMW. The Z06 is much faster, handles better and will be a lot more reliable in addition to requiring less maintenance. My one piece of advice is to take your time and learn the car because when a vette gets loose, it really gets loose quickly. Enjoy!

Thank you for all the kind words guys! I'm heading out to Indianapolis this afternoon to pick her up. Hoping to heck I don't get snowed on.

I imagine this is MUCH more car than the bmw or Audi, i will definitely treat it cautiously.

I do not mean to be annoying but make sure you have good tires on the car. I previously owned a Supra (>700RWHP) and last year had a GT500 (511RWHP) and tires are everything when it comes to these RWD high powered cars. The Michelin Pilot Sport tires are really good and the continentals are a cheaper option which are also decent but not as good as the more expensive Michelins. Post up your impressions when you get back!

Why'd you get rid of the supra?

I can imagine a Z06 in winter in the Northern Midwest doesn't equate to much traction
