The car with fewer payments and fewer repairs is the better car. The rest is just numbers.

Wow, I would've thought a 3.8 would have put up a better fight based off the numbers/drivetrain

Which one is" better" is completely subjective. They are two very different cars at very different price points and designed to compete against very different models. I imagine the Genesis would be considered far superior to the WRX by most people in most categories though. That's not to say all. In the end what really matters, is what each individual thinks is most important among the two cars.

I like the new Genesis and what Hyundai is doing with it. Only thing I would really change on it is how pig heavy it is for a RWD 2+2

I considered the 2.0T when car shopping. Couldn't get over the lack of utility. Although the Genny's are easy to make look sexy as hell.

    This.
I considered the Gen Coupe when shopping around for a sports car. It's a great car for "someone", but wasn't a good match for me...too heavy, and some reviews that indicated that driven hard, the parts don't really work all that well together. I probably should have gone ahead and test-driven one, but for some reason my heart wasn't into the car. Jay is right, though..it's probably a great car for most people!
