    400whp 06 sti to 2011 Lexus IS-F

I recently sold my 06 sti and decided to pick up a sgm 2011 Lexus IS-F. I will really miss the subaru but after six years it was time for something else. I absolutely love the is-f! I know some people are thinking its an auto....,but its still a blast with the paddle shifters and sport mode. Performance wise they are very close with the sti being a bit quicker...but thats about to change. I went to new england dragway 3 weeks ago and ran a 12.89@110.4 bone stock. Not everyones cup of tea but I figured I would share. Click image for larger version.

The IS-F is a pretty car. I personally would have opted for the CTS-V, but a fine choice nonetheless.

Thanks and thanks! I sat in an 09 cts-v and it was like sitting in a plastic turd...albeit an extremely fast, nice looking plastic turd. Those cars scream performance but I really like the bullet proof reliability and comfort of the is-f.

I can't argue with that! Toyota really knows how to make a reliable vehicle.

Probably the only current toyota product I would be interested in. (I like the FR-S, but my life cannot accommodate such a vehicle)

However, I would absolutely require there be some way to do away with that horrid stacked fake quad exhaust tips in the rear fascia.

Wow congrats. IS-F's are sweet. Definitely on my list of cars I'd consider when I'm eventually done with my WRX. Enjoy!

The 4 Toyota's I've owned were reliable on a level that's hard to believe.

Both my parents have Toyota Avalons...and they love them.

The IS-F is a pretty pretty car....and those numbers in a quarter mile? That's pretty damn impressive from a stock vehicle!

They're a bit heavier, at 3800 lbs or so, but have a nice V8 with over 400 hp iirc.

nope, would be cool though. My launch control consists of me mashing the pedal to the floor as hard as I can
