In before the Mustang converts start making excuses, demanding a rematch, and touting the superiority of the 3600 pound, 2011+ 5.0 with its awesome live axle and what not...

Keep in mind, I owned a 2006 Mehstang GT so there is plenty more hate for Ford where that came from.

A good friend of mine runs 11.40's @ 120+ with bolt ons, tune, and drag radials in his 2011 5.0 so unless you have some serious money in a Subaru or the guy can't drive or has street tire's on the 5.0 you don't have a chance.

The new Mustangs have great power but does not mean everyone is proficient about driving one, especially in a drag strip type setting.

Also your .041 RT does not mean anything unless you had a hole shot win. If its a straight line to line heads up race where the winner is determined by the ET then you could have sat there for 3 seconds and you still would have won by the margin you did.

    Truf.

Though it is an impressive RT. However, it's only really impressive if you can consistently get that.

The trick is don't wait for the light. Anticipate the launch from the ambers. Gonna red light a lot until you get used to it though.

IDK... a 305whp 2.0L might mid 12s with a good driver. A 5.0 Mustang might run high 12s with a bad driver. It's all possible and up to the driver I suppose
