If you have a family, your wife's thoughts can indeed enter into your buying decision. Mine actually put the gears in motion that eventually lead to me buying another WRX.

Nope...VCRs only. Unless the TV happens to be a CRT.

I had 2 requirements bestowed on me by wife/family: 4 doors, under 35k. Could I have done any better?

My gf's friend said it best, something to the extent of: men who drive such impractical, flashy muscle cars do so because they're trying to compensate for something. Obviously this isnt a factor for those of us who already with girlfriends/wives, but bachelors out there may want to think twice about the image they'll portray.
I bought a WRX because it's a practical, reliable, affordable, fun to drive car, and is also apparently unlike the mustang, a chick magnet.
I was thinking about you the other day when I realized that you had purchashed the wrong car!

I'd keep your eye on your girl the next time she sees one of these puppies roll by, practicality is it's middle name!

2.0liter (rally spec of course) I4 that boasts an impressive 22city and 27 highway mpg, rear doors that open a very practical 255 degrees and over 160 ft of cubic cargo space!

This ***** oozes practicality, reviews state that even a fellow 6' tall doesn't need to fold himself in half to get inside, its short wheel base and awesome turning radius make it a great city car and just remember all that practicality!

Prices are super practical as well! Starting at a hair over 20 grand for the basic models and 23 grand for the premiums (mp3 player hook up buddy)

I've been thinking about buying a few of them myself, I could have a chick in every city if I had a small fleet of these guys.

Don't lose your girl over your car bud!
