I may be shunned for this, but I just traffic light to speed limitted an R32 this morning. There was no one in front of us for a half mile or so. His exhaust sound made me thing he had mods, but regardless, my WRX (with only a catback) took him easily.

and im bad at shifting too lol

nice to know, my friend has an R32, and we of course always tell each other that one of our cars would burn the other, we obviously never raced because i dont go around planning a race then doing it on public roads lmao but i was just curious, hes got a little work done so i think all depends on the driver. but what catback do u have? i was thinking about gettin an invidia N1 for christmas but i haaaate the single output

I was not a fan of the single output either...I went with a Perrin, but i kinda wish it was a little louder TBO

invidia has the Q300, thats a dual output.

Probably a close one between the two cars but, all else equal, the WRX has the edge on paper. Simple mods to the R32 and it might be a different ballgame.

    +1

I got blown away by a MKIV R32 running a turbo when I had my Cobb OTS Stage 2 STI...he, however, blew his turbo in our drag on the strip, and I won the race

But at the time he blew his turbo, I was 2 car lengths behind with another 800ft or so to go...and that was a 12.9 run for me.
