    Yeah....not much of a competition.

I have a soft spot for my little SVT. I just traded it in. It handled quite well when pushed hard in the corners, the 6 speed felt great with a Short Shifter but all in all it was really slow, the AC didn't work, and it showed the wear.

I love my 09 WRX hatch. It is great. It is not as fast as the Mazda Protege 5 that we had in my old shop (500 FWP built engine/ huge turbo, AEM standalone ha ha) but that thing was squirley as hell on DRY roads.

I can't wait to drive my car in SLC in the snow with some snow tires! I am really glad I bought this ride.

MOD PLANS - keeping it sane.....short shifter, COBB Stage 2, Front and Rear Sway Bars and endlinks. That is it.

What is the deal with the WRX interior hate around here? This is the nicest car I have ever had.

Congrats on the new car! I've always really liked the Focus. It's one of the best handling cars I've ever driven.

I'd add high performance brake pads (at least on the front) to that list. Then you've addressed power, handling, and braking.

I always loved the concept of the svt focus. put a turbo and awd on it, and I would've owned one.

I used to have an early Integra GS-R. I drove an SVT Focus when I was looking for the replacement. The engine and chassis felt very similar, but somehow just a little less precise. Great seats and quite a fun car. It's one of those cars that you enjoy because it's fun to drive, not because it's particularly fast.

Here's the list, which is fairly up-to-date.

I always wanted an SVT Focus, I read somewhere that the engines are pretty stout and they can take a lot of power.
