    The C30 is as close as we'll get. Its the same platform and same drivetrain. The only thing we're missing is the performance tuning and the focus bodywork.

    bah.. that crap can be bolted on. If I managed to find a full mkI rs cosworth suspension/brakes, get em shipped from the eu and bolted them to a merkur (of all godforsaken forgotten cars) .. its easily doable for a car still in production.

    besides the hard part is the driveline.. and that is already here and emissions certified. The rest is easy.
