I thought the definition of "muscle car" was "big displacement in a light chassis." I would never classify 2.5L as "big displacement"

Way to be literal Zach, again. You are beginning to sound like Spiros, just minus the whole European cool factor.

the original muscle cars were value priced family sedans with powerful engines. In that regards, I could maybe see it...

Regardless of definitions, for me a "muscle car" has to have a V8. It was always about dropping a giant motor in a pedestrian chassis and letting it rip. I get the comparison, and accept the argument, but I have no problem being considered something else. Sport compact?

I <3 my WRX, but at its heart it's an econobox sedan with some fun add-ons.

Funny thing is...when comparing WRXs and STI body styles amongst each other, I always thought of the Blobeye as having a more Muscular look to it...more powerful look...when compared to a Bugeye or a Hawkeye...

I haven't really given much thought to comparison of the Stinkeyes.

They're all ugly ducklings to my eye. The blobeye STI does have a certain appeal to it...perhaps because it's the first one that "we got".

Ooh,hang on. That is the throb of a turbocharged flat four engine. A sound which, all over the world, heralds the imminent arrival of a moron - JC.

Blasphemy! These cars are beautiful! They have the distinct aerodynamic lines and prowess of Ferraris! And...I can't keep on BSing like that anymore

They are kinda ugly...but for some reason, I really like the look and find it to be a very aggressive style, especially with a few minor cosmetic and suspension enhancements.

There are outliers in every category. The Viper comes to mind on the other end of that spectrum.
