STI vs Cobalt SS Turbo run 2 - YouTube

sti vs cobalt on highway, wrx vs sti - YouTube

Not sure what sti's you're racing but pulled this off youtube. Seemed to be the first legit race. This sti is also only running on wg pressure which is around 14psi depending what spring he's running which means he also wasn't tuned. Don't really see anything impressive.

Love both cars, and guys i know this may be new for alot of you... but the fact is its OK to have another car be faster than yours... There are many many cars out there FWD/RWD/AWD that can embarrass your car... and mine...

Ive got 40k miles on my TC'd Cobalt and its been great. The problem with the cobalt is build quality (minus engine ,susp, trans).
    Ill list my gripes
    - Crappy rear rotors and calipers dont release fully
    - Crappy dash material, and door panel material... rubbermaid garbage cans are nicer to the touch
    - Wintertime brings on interesting noises from the suspension, squeaks and rattles
-Trunk opening is sooooo small in 2 or 4 doors
    - Fuel tank way too small@ 13 gallons (turbo cars should come with BIG gas tanks)

The car has some great strengths
    - great turn-in, and grip, good ride quality with little body roll, (will definetly outhandle a wrx, good match for STi
    - great gas mileage, i average 24mpg, but im tuned and ALWAYS enjoying the K04 FAT midrange
with cruise on at 60mph flat road, you can see 36mpg
-STOCK Borgwarner K04 good for over 300whp and 350tq, STOCK FMIC, STOCK 4pot Brembos

That said, ill probably sacrifice the fuel economy and top end for the STi Hatch's versatility, roof rackability, and winter performance (HID's and heated seats/wipers/mirrors help too )

Not surprising, to me. Statistically, most folks that can afford a new STI will be a little older, and fall into a lower risk category than us punks that own the cheap stuff. Insurance companies base rates on a combination of a lot of factors.

There's no comparison between a FWD car and an AWD or RWD car when it comes to handling. If there was, FWD cars would be raced, but there's not a single type of race where they're used.

Series just wrapped up 2 weeks ago at Mid ohio, Kia Forte (FWD) won the championship. Very fun racing to watch.

FWIW my bone stock 05 MINI S handled waaaay better than my WRX stock. And fit more crap inside.

Rage is right. I'm sure you think that because you're always putting in 13.xx gallons once your fuel light comes on. There is around 2 or so gallons left at that point.
