Life is like riding a bicycle in order to keep your balance you must keep moving.
i would like to see the dyno graph with afr readings. 11.1 is a good a/f but 22psi is a lot of hot air coming out of that little turbo. i would be afraid of detonation. do you have a scan gauge that measures knock?
either way it's a good time.

i was always told to shift right around 5.8k to 6.2k and 22psi out of a tdo4 wow i only ran 16psi. your injecters stock? other then that good time. i wonder what mine will run at sea level after all my mods![]()

22 psi is very high on 93
My tuner told me that my car just kept taking increased timing and that 22 psi isn't hurting anything. No knock no detonation

I always get weary of those who just add timing to quell knock... :-/

Are you comfortable mentioning who did your tune?

Yes im sure its out of its efficiency range.. on e85 maybe not but on 93 def...
I recently had aconvo on nastyoc about this..
They came to the conclusion that id run the same time maybe even better setting my peak psi at 18
I don't know anything about tuning so I really have no clue...
If 22psi isn't efficient why would the tuner run it up so high

His shop specialises in subarus.. its really about all they work on.

It depends on your atmospheric pressure and inlet temperatures (and intercooling efficiencies).

This is some good info:
EngineLogics. - How to read a Compressor Maps
On the stock intercooler, stock turbo, at sea level and standard temperature... most tuners seem to suggest 20 PSI is the maximum efficiency... I can crunch the numbers later.
