Each time I try to go fast the alarm in the back of my car goes off.

One of my coworkers coined the VERB "Speed Racer". It goes like this:
Coworker: Who's closest and will drive?
Me: Probably me, I'll drive
Coworker: Wow, look at this thing
Me: Was a nice van replacement =)
Coworker: Alright Vin Diesel, when you gonna 'speed racer' me until I yell at you
Me: Well, we have about 2 miles of traffic lights ahead, rain check?
Coworker: Fiiiine

...I like it. I use it as a regular threat to my "go fast alarm" that sits beside me frequently.


While I'm on the story note, I had a hot run in with a red blobeye coming back yesterday. I was going down the highway in the slow lane, about 5mph over the speed limit (just before that 'go fast' alarm kicks on... the alarm wasn't on low power standby mode yet) and the wrx pulled up beside me. He looked at me. I gave him a sidways glance. He then proceeded to raise his hand and make a waving motion. I followed suit. He continued on. Then my go fast alarm switched modes into the 'dork' alarm =P.

My heart was pumping though. I think it was because of the massive amount of fried food and beer I had the day before though =/.
